Tuesday 25th Sept Burketown
No Photos Sorry

We decide on a sleep in today so we set the alarm for 5:30am. I get woken at 5:00am by mossies. We head out to the airstrip. Same deal as yesterday except I launch half an hour earlier.

Franks away early, I'm still squinting at the sun. Tomorrow I want to beat the sun. Steve's ahead of me and a little lower, i'm at 500ft. I see Steve barrelling along low over the river. I decide to follow. I spot a big croc in the middle of the river I can see its tail moving from side to side. I also see a smaller croc on the bank. No glories today. Frank headed to the coast and radioed back that the seabreeze had already hit. I follow the river back to the airstrip and land. Airtime today 30mins. We pack up and head back to town for breakfast.

That night we had a big BBQ lotsa meat and Geoff supplied some Barramundi. The Barra was excellent eating. Geoff's flown more glories than he can count in his little Monerai and he's pretty good at hunt'n and kill'n barra's as well.

The BBQ was a bit of a send off for Rob and Russel (stick) who are flying their GROB home tomorrow morning. The Folks that run the Park and the crew from the local airline joined us as well.
